The Forest

Part of a study of paintings delving in the process of mark making as a language. The darker colors in the rear recede from the fiery orange and reds which too give way to glowing yellow. Emotion brings these marks to life. Wooden slats create just enough space to keep the entire piece from coming together in an explosion and leaving just enough distance that the fire might actually put itself out.  

This piece is available as a Limited Edition giclée print in an issue of 100. Prints will be numbered and signed with a certificate of authenticity.
